There are no spies, no big adventures, no scars, wars, highwaymen, no injuries - just the ordinary twists and turns of life itself. But, such beguiling twists and turns.

I loved Marcus and Gwen and all the characters that populated this lovely story. Nothing like a book by Ms. Alexandra - thoroughly delectable, just like a good dessert. She is a treat. I'd gladly purchase all of her books without even reading a review, she's that good. However, I've found that if I read through all one author's book successively I begin to see the formula and enjoy them less. So, now, I take my time, alternate between authors and it seems I always have some favorites to look forward to. I'm savoring the thought of reading her next book - just like having a box of unopened fine chocolates!

Read this book, especially if you enjoy watching two people fall in love in the most romantic way. You won't be sorry....

Wonderful twist at the end that was unexpected. Each box is fabulous. I will be sad when I am finished with this series.
While I liked the characters in this book a lot, I found the book as a whole a bit lacking. The writing seemed lazy....conversations and thoughts too long revealing not a lot of substance. I just found myself quite bored. It's odd but so many of this author's books are either just hit or miss for me...seems like she's running either hot or cold. Highly recommend her What a Lady Wants or When We Meet Again....great dialogue and tension between characters...soooo much better than this. This was a ribeye with so much fat you couldn't enjoy the meat.
